While fishing the mouth of the cascade the other day I saw an obvious snagger rip into a really nice coho hen. Took him a while to play it out since it was hooked in the tail, and right before he landed it, I over heard his buddy say things like keeper, dinner...etc. Then, two feet from the beach, the hook came out, sending his pinky long piece of pencil lead square between his eyes. I was a bit downstream of this and clearly heard him get clocked. Almost knocked him over and he ended up sitting down for ten minutes with his hand over his eyes. I walked by him half an hour later and could'nt help but notice both of his eyes were getting black, giving him a "raccoon" kinda look. I did'nt get what I was fishing for that day, but I sure came home happy!

So I guess we should all look out for "Raccoon boy"

I hope it was 1# buzz bomb with trebles.
