Nice. That's one nice BM.

Makes the couple of 25" keepers I've caught this year look like bait.

Nice fish, but you can't tease us with a picture like that without giving up the location and method!

Nice fish.

We went to Point No Point this morning. Of course, the shakers were relentless. Even on plugs. The plugs did seem to reduce the shakers, but did not stop them. Overall, we did manage one keeper (maybe 4-5 pounds) for two of us. We quit when we felt like we had maimed enough fish without our limit. Just felt bad after awhile.

Seemed like jigging was more "selective" as we could let most of the fish wiggle off if they clearly weren't big enough (which was all but a couple that we wanted to take a look at before releasing).

The bait was amazing also. Huge clouds on the df for hundreds of yards. What a day out there! It was about as nice as winter fishing can get.

That's a nice fish!! Should start seeing a few of those down my way here shortly!

I was out yesterday morning off Gibson. Hooked up with a nice little football as soon as the ball hit the bottom. Didn't even get a chance to get the rod in the holder.

Nice blackie. I haven't got one quite that big this winter. Been close at 13lbs and several around 10.
Went out Sunday and fished Possession. The day was great. The water was flat all day and fishing was good. Caught mostly shakers all morning but then got into a good bite on nice keeper's in the afternoon. Had a couple of doubles and kept three fish at 8 to 10lbs. We got them on plugs right on the bottom.
The seals are really out of control out there. We had at least 3 to 4 around us at all times yesterday and it was tough to get fish in the boat. At one point I was skipping an 8lber across the water and the seal lunged for it just as my buddy netted the fish. It's ridiculous. I'm going to find some solution for the Ba*******.

My kids love to honk the airhorn at the seals. That seems to drive them away temporarily. The last time I was robbed by a seal was a couple of years ago blackmouth fishing. That was one agravating day of finally hooking up with a nice fish only to see it on the surface in one of those discusting creatures mouth. The smart ones will follow you around and wait for the dinner bell to ring.
