Since no one else seems to let it be known where some fish are, I'll do it. Satsop,Satsop,Satsop. Very Hot last few days. If you have the chance and the rain isn't too bad before morning I would try before the floods. \:D

Very interesting post. Please share more..

I floated it Sunday, water level was low and clear. We were one of the last 5 DB's taking out Sunday at Hwy 12. 1 Coho for 5 boats..We played with a few doggies...very little pressure and fewer fish..

hmm....

Fished it Saturday for a few hours. I have never seen it this poor for this time of the year.

Stay VERY low on the river. The fish aren't even at the highway bridge. Stacking up in the very lower holes and they are VERY bright. Waiting for this rain.

Are we talking about bright silvers in the lower Satsop or Chum?

Did you float or bank fish?

What was the hot technique?

It doesn't really matter now but I've fished from the bank and the ticket was spinners or eggs. All VERY bright silvers. Seen a few nice kings still caught also. When the river comed down should be some nice silvers up high.
