Fished the Satsop today and only saw 3 fish roll, and one old dark silver landed. 2'+ of vis and the river was on the drop hard. We tried every trick in the book. Kwikies in traveling lanes & soft water, spinners and plugs in soft / frog water, plugs in seams and logjams. You name it we tried it. Fished the mid east fork down to the highway.

There should have been more silvers around, but perhaps the last batch is way up the east fork, and the next batch is on the way...

Later!

Should indeed be some B-run hatchery silvers around. The nets have been out of the harbor for a bit and the higher water should definitely have fish moving. But, those Satsop hatchery fish are also famous for blitzing through the lower reaches in a day or two during high water and kegging up in the closed water at the hatchery.

Just saw the new netting schedule. Unbelievable. It seems like their netting days just get longer. Nets go in the Chehalis Dec. 1 and stay in until Dec. 10th. Then back in on the 12th.

It pretty obvious what going on here. The Indians tell the State when and where they are going to net. The State just bob their heads. The indians do this because they CAN
not because there some great need. It's all B.S and no one in White goverment has the balls to call B.S.

In the end we (tax paying, License holders}
take in the A@#.
