Uh-Oh...

Hey H2H..did I sign a "waiver" for those pics along with all that other paperwork????

Glad to be able to lend a hand...although I gotta say, H2H has the BEST carcass pitching form I've ever seen...the man is very experienced at this!

Any of you guys that have some free time, this is NOT hard work. I am allergic to manual labor, but this fell way short of actually "working". Saw some georgeous country, learned a few new spots to cast a line and had a good time.

Some of those old boot fish we were tossing were in the 20 lb. range! Seems I missed all the real "hogs" this year.

Thanks for tolerating me Brian..and hope to have time available again to go up and pitch a few more of them nasty things..

Mike

Mike!!

An interesting job when you get to see some of the fish that got back to the hatchery. You don't know if you should be PO'd for letting them or excited that some of them are that big and you get pumped for salmon season to come around again ;\)

Thanks for your work Mike and H2H!

I visited Chimacum Creek over Thanksgiving weekend and was excited to see the the last of the spawning coho in the creek. This creek appears to be making a great recovery after getting wipped out by a road washout in the late 80's. (Near Port Townsend)

I couldn't believe the size of some of the spawned out carcasses I saw in there. Big fish for such a small creek.

I have to admit that even as I saw these "underdog" wild Coho in this little creek, I thought, "How did I miss these guys as they swam past Pt. Wilson" Glad they made it!

So Mike, did you learn the lesson about wearing "full rain gear" with disposable clothes underneath when on carcass distributory expeditions? Or did H2H provide designer carcasses from the hatchery at the Bellevue Square Mall for you?

LOL!! None of the above was needed. We used these cool single-tine pitchforks. Never even had to lay a hand on one of those nasties. Course, I've got rain gear...if it's raining.

Did ya notice the blinding speed of that pitchfork. Tossing fish so fast it's just a blur in the camera lens... \:D (NOT!)

Brian and I were humbled by the other fellow that was with us...forget his name, but a nice fellow. He was a carcass tossing machine...

Mike
