If you are fishing a rag without bait, do you use scent? If so,what is your favorite scent?
I'm also running out of backer rod. I checked both Lowes and Home Depot on Aurora North and they only had the grey. Is there a place in Seattle or on the Eastside that carries the white?
Thanks for your help.

If fishing waters open to using scent, I would have to say run with it. Although, if legal to use scent, why not use that nice shrimpie tail section? My fave \:\)

The fish really don't care if it's white or gray. Like Bob said the tails are dynomite. Ya never say is it a rock cuz they are hammering it.

I probley over scent my rag's,but who cares.First I put a shrimp tail on then I put a little shrimp smelly jelly on the bottom end of the foam where it meet's the bead. Then I put some pro-cure shrimp oil on the yarn and rag body. This is way over kill but it works great.
Good luck,

P.S. Bait it,lube it,squirt it.No I'm not gay.
