Love to see posted fish pics. She's a healthy specimen, too. Some nice eggies, I bet. \:\)

snoqualmie and that concrete box behind him is what ive been told is responsible for slicing the nose off of so many summer runs that ive caught noseless. from what ive heard they try to follow the curent into the pumphouse and get their noses wacked

Sol,
From the look of the tail, she may not have had any eggs left.
Could be a pretty little summer from the Headworks area above PK.
Getting warm Jacob? ;\)

Jacob - did you wade to the island?
I guess your extra height makes wading a little easier for you, but I was there the other day and didn't even think of trying to wade over to it....

Nice fish!

I'm assuming the damage to her tail was done while she was in the hatchery or something because she was full of eggs.

Wading out to the island was a bit tricky. I actually went down stream a little and went through the deep, slow water. It was a little higher than my waste.

How many people did you see fishing from there to the island today?

Mooch ma-man, Jacob has already anwered this but I love to interpert pics, so I'll revisit the egg topic.

The tail looks like it's been damaged in the process of redd building. If that were the case the likelyhood would be high she'd already dropped. But, look closer at her belly. This fish is wrought with roe. My mouth waters at the sight of her. If you put on your 3-D glasses you can even see the skeins hanging inside her like ripe grapes on the vine. \:D ;\)

Sol-ma-man,

You've been fishin' way too much.

Now me on the other hand, I haven't seen too many fish bellys lately so I'm heading to Forks with the rest of the sickies. Funny thing though, my wife told me to make sure I came home with "ripe grapes on the vine" too. To each his own, eh Solly?
