started this morning at 6:30 on the salmon there was 20+ cars parked at the low bridge hiked up to the res and fished down to the mouth got 1 lousy spawner never seen another fish caught all the way down to the queets which only had 6 inches of visibility Talked to a couple of boats as they floated down and all they had was a couple dark silvers. The day started out bad. So on the way home we decided to stop in and bank fish the hump for a couple hours, good thing we did we hooked 4 and landed 2 nice (FRESH) steelies crappy day turned out just fine. Oh yeah there was only 2 other fisherman where I was on the Hump.... Glad I left the Combat Zone on the salmon.

Well there won't be any combat fishing on the Nooch. Drove up to launch my boat and just left it on the trailer. It really had poor visibility compared to other rivers in the area and it is still running pretty good. Saw other boats taking out after a few hours of ZERO.
Besides those issues the nets are in and the river has been over fished for the past five years.

Should have fished it for the P.M. bite. Quite a few people on the Humps in the A.M. but was able to punch out our fishes and beat the T-dome traffic on 5. Still an excellent day to be on the river. Robert

Ya what Double Haul said. gamefish.com is one of the worst for giving away location. It used to be a place to get away from crowds. But now with loose lips and a 6 day netting schedule, why bother?
