On the 23rd I got my best present of the year. My oldest daughter asked what I would like for Christmas about three weeks ago and I told her one day on the river in the driftboat with her. Since I haven't seen her for 9 months due to college and her work schedule thought it would be great father daughter time.

The result was a beautiful day on the river, sunshine, conversation, and she caught first stealhead...a bonus.

Bob you were even a witness to the event when the fish ran your way a little.

All in all a perfect day on the river and the best present my daughter could have given me.
