Answered no, but, I have heard some unique noises in the St. Helens area. You know screeches in the night.

Nope not that I have seen... but I am the same as Papaslap... and in about the same areas...

Down around St. Helens... out deep in the woods... heard some screeeeeeeches, growls and ground or log type pounding that put a nerve or two on high function and didn't get any sleep a couple of nights....

I answered no But I saw two sets of tracks on bear ck. in 3/69 one was 17in the other was23 in. in the snow . Called the sheriff and him and two men followed the tracks for about 5 miles up a mountain. Then I saw one set of tracks the same year but in the summer in the sand along Bear ck.
