Bushonomics 101, Tenet One:

Free trade is good for everything except pharmaceuticals.

Does anyone understand the implication here?

So when you start comparing whose eaten more waffle you had really better be giving serious consideration to content of the waffle itself.

Is it an Eggo or a creme brulee filled Belgian?

If you've lost me, what I am saying is that moving back and forth on critical issues is not a sign of weakness although it can be. More often it is a sign of consideration of difficult issue, recognizing the merit of both sides and trying to seek the middle ground. Also...what is the person changing their mind about and why? Ultimately, did they make the right decission

In fact, the way I see it staunch adherence to closely held beliefs can be as much of a character weakness as being overly swayable.

IMO, the inconsistency in Bush's policy when it comes to pharmaceutical companies is inexcusable.
