Dang I always miss the good stuff!

Well here's my meter...against religion (true religion) = 0. Against religious fanatics = 10.
I give Bush JR a big 10. We have a big 10 fighting 10's and the rest of us are in the middle.

It is a shame that people like stlhead equate everything he opposes to the "religious right"..It is sad that he has so much disdain for anyone who is religious as if they are sick. Just because someone publicly acknowledges a faith (Christian) he is some sort of evil demon.

Last time I checked I wasn't able to find any Christians strapping on suicide bomb belts in the name of their religion or sawing off an innocent person's head in the name of their god....And yet folks like stlhead and now AuntyM see the Americans as the enemy and stick up for the radical Islamists as being justified because of what our relgious right wing government is doing....I really don't understand that way of thinking at all and feel genuinely sorry for those who feel that way.

Oh and by the way....Lynnwood is close by and does has some redeeming qualities...It has a taven called Daverthumps ...that tavern is #1 on the state patrol's list of the most DUI arrests of patrons of that establishment...There is also a Hooters!!! There is a huge new DSHS office there too.

GP sure likes to spin. I have no problem with people who attempt to practice true Christianity or even true Islam. I have a problem with religious fanatics. In this country the religious fanatics are the ones trying to make all citizens comform to their way of thinking. In this country they are the ones spreading hate. They are anti freedom and thus un-american. GP's hate of Islamics in my book is not someone who understands true Christianity. It is the thinking of a religious fanatic.

Speaking of religious fanatics, what are the all the Catholics in Colorado going to do in November? They've been told by their bishop that votes for a candidate who supports abortion, stem cell research, or gay marriage will bar them from receiving holy communion.

So since Bush has supported stem cell research, and Kerry supports pro-choice, and Nader supports gay's rights to marry, they don't have anyone to vote for.

I wonder why he failed to mention that his boss, the Pope, has called the Iraqi war immoral and unjust. Seems he should point out that anyone supporting a candidate responsible for that war is violating the church's doctrine as well.

Hell, what do I know. I seem to view everything in shades of gray.
