Doing the Puyallup/Carbon river tomorrow evening after the fish fill up the river again...

I've been quiet here for some time now - for just that reason... Well that and we just sold our house, and that work has been busy, and my 3 boys - well, you get the idea...

Anyway, I went out for a few hours before work last week and found these:

Wed - 12lbs, 7lbs:

Not quite. I prefer to use the JFKerry approach:

Close eyes - cast. Let wind and current decide where the lure goes.

If no luck, try to cast to as many fish as possible and look for those stupid enough to bite.

Change positions frequently to appeal to as many fish as possible.

Fish artificial lures only.

Smile as I watch them flip flop on the bank before bonking them.
