Personally, I think O'reilly is a Pompus A$$.

He's certainly NOT a conservative.

He's always tried to portray himself as an independent who rides the middle rail. Now we learn that the rail may have been vibrating.

What will be interesting to watch as this story unfolds, is how the womens rights advocates that didn't bat an eyelash at Slick Willy's extra-marital 'Willy Wagging' and countless accusations of sexual harrassment and rape will most likely villify and demonize O'reilly for his alleged inappropriate behavior.

One should be 'fair and balanced' in how they treat men/women who cross lines of acceptable behavior, regardless of their politics/position.

So, why didn't she hang up the phone?

And why did she go back to work there?

The harrassed are under no obligation to report it to anyone. They can use the chain of command or go above or below their superior. Omission by purpose or default is not a disallowable action. The merits of the claim are the only consdieration. There is implied duress that is taken into consideration.

She would have had to fight not only him, but the network. I have been in the unfortunate circumstances of being right, but losing in court. Not fun.In the end it was just cheaper and less painful to pay the guy and go on, but I did have my say before I paid him!

Aunty, I'm not really concerned at this point about the lawsuit. I agree she was probably out to get rich - it seems to be the American way these days.

My beef is with O'Reilly's holier-than-thou attitude. Mr. Moral-majority himself got caught with his pants down. Even is she did encourage him, the way he comes off as having the utmost in morals, he shouldn't had played along. But he did ... evidently.

RB, my day in court was about a business deal, so get out of the gutter and go back to your copying and pasting................lately your stuff about Bouche has been funnier that the funnies in the paper......
