The latest national numbers, courtesy of Josh Marshall:
The second national poll released Monday, the Marist poll, has Kerry up by one among likely voters (Kerry 49%, Bush 48%) and tied among registered voters (48%). All calls were made on Sunday.
The final Fox News poll -- with calls on Saturday and Sunday only -- has Kerry over Bush 48% to 46% among likely voters. Among registered voters it's Kerry 47%, Bush 45%. Among those who've already voted, it's Kerry 48%, Bush 43%. Fox has been releasing not a tracking poll, but a new poll every day for the last four days: Friday, Bush +5; Saturday Bush +2; Sunday, tied; Monday, Kerry +2.
According to Gallup's mega-final-ultra poll out Sunday evening, 30% of registered voters in Florida have already voted, either through early voting or by absentee. Of those who have already voted, Kerry leads President Bush 51% to 43%. According to the Des Moines Register poll out late Saturday evening, 27% of Iowa adults have already voted. And among those Kerry leads 52% to 41%.

I agree that the methodology behind these polls needs to be rethought. Maybe they need to check in at Piscatorial Pursuits!

I don't know if you read the FAQ associated with the election predictor that you posted P-Martin, which has Kerry @ 298 electoral votes, but the statistion had this to say:

"Why Did You Do This?
In a nutshell, because living abroad I know first hand what the world thinks of America and it is not a pretty picture at the moment. I want people to think of America as the land of freedom and democracy, not the land of arrogance and blind revenge. I want to be proud of America again. The U.S. media do a spectacularly bad job of informing Americans about what is going on in rest of the world. After Sept. 11, the U.S. could do no wrong. The entire world was on America's side. The invasion of Afghanistan was seen as completely justified. After all, the Al-Qaida leadership had to be decapitated. No one questioned that.

But Iraq was a completely different matter. Bush, Cheney, and Powell said they had conclusive proof that Saddam had WMD and could attack at any instant. The rest of the world wanted to see the proof. No proof was forthcoming. The answer was "trust us." We now know there were no WMD. There weren't even factories or labs to produce them. Saddam was an evil dictator with evil fantasies but he was no threat to America. Yet former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill said that the planning to invade Iraq began the day Bush was inaugurated. The administration simply misused the horror of Sept. 11 as a convenient excuse for doing something that was already in the works.

Without the "War on Terror" George W. Bush would simply fade into the sunset (that's what cowboys do), and be judged by history as one of the worst single term presidents to hold the office. With the "War on Terror" the man actually has a chance of becoming the worst two term president in history. Don't let it happen. Vote John Kerry...vote early and vote often. Just funnin' ya on the vote often part ;\) .

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

The 'enlightened' people of France want Bush gone and Kerry in also.

So does:

Osama bin Laden

Yassar Arafat

North American Man Boy Love Association

Hanoi Jane Fonda

Rosie O'donell and the activist group Vote Your Vagina!

I guess you Hosers are in good company, eh?

Thanks for checking in from our largest national park. We do not let the park employees vote however.

Krusty, why is it that you continue to mock others by trying to use the word enlightened in a negative context?

enlightened: adj 1: highly educated; having extensive information or understanding; "an enlightened public"; "knowing instructors"; "a knowledgeable critic"; "a knowledgeable audience"

It's no wonder you see that as a negative trait; your posts and attitude reflect the fact that you are the opposite of that description.
