Regardless of what happens with the provisional ballots in Ohio, I believe it is time to move on. No question that Bush won the popular vote and I believe JFK should concede and fight another day.

I am saddened with those results, but, as with any election I find some things to cheer me up.

The sun will rise in the east
The rivers will run to the salt
Every once in a while, I will fool a fish
The laughter of my children will fill me with joy
The love of family and friends will always be more important than who holds office

I'm with you Ed...This election cycle was a tough one for both sides. So much mean spirited stuff flying around. Besides there are so many fishing issues on the horizon that we can all probably agree on and work together on. That is where my energies will be headed.

There was to many holes in his record over the past Thirty Years. In the end he was carrying to much Baggage and or Dirty Laundry to be elected.

Just look at the election results Liberalism is on the wain in this country the pendelum is swinging in the other direction the Republicans gained five seats in the Senate with the Minority Whip defeated and the House Majority increasing on the Republicans.

It appears the Republicans are consolidating their constituant base and the other side is coming apart at the seams and has been since 1994.

Thank God the majority of the electorate of this country aren't totally brain dead, education not withstanding, can still see through their misguided agenda and vote against it. In retrospect until they wake up and realize that the Looney Left of the party are leading them down the Guilded Path into obscurity and bring back a much more moderate path closer to the Center of the political spectrum they will continue on the slide into a footnote in history.

The electorate is finaly grasping onto the fact that over the last fifty years it was the Democrats that raided Social Security and other Public Trust Funds to pay for their Pork Barrel Projects, Giveaways of monies from the Pitman-Robinson Wildlife Funds to PETA and other such Organizations. Monies for the study of the South American Tree Frog and other ludicous grants.
