Powell says Iran working on missile

"Although he suggested there may be progress toward getting Iran to freeze programs that could produce a nuclear warhead, Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) also said Wednesday that intelligence suggests Tehran has been "working hard" to develop the means to deliver just such a weapon."

Boy oh boy seems like Deja Vu all over again. And we should beleive him, why?

In this particular case we should believe him because its probably true. The more important question is what can we do about it as long as GW has us tied down in Iraq? But, I must just be a Bush hating, Commie loving, liberal because I pointed this out prior to us going into Iraq.

We may be tied down in Iraq. We have an influence in Afganastan. Who does that leave in the middle. I have to think that would be a strong incentive for them to stop trying to develop nukes. Then again maybe that is why they have steped up thier program.

Put yourself in their shoes. The people that hold all the power in the world have nukes. Cannot blame them for trying. I think they are just pushing for some bargaining room. If they tipped some missles with them I think they would get lit up like Elliot bay on the 4th of July.

... or a strong incentive to use nukes.

Why fear them any less than we did someone we imagined had a plan to develop nukes?

Mark my words...when Iran gets close enough to deploy/send a Nuke to Israel----You'll see some unannounced precision airial attacks on Iran's nuclear development/deployment capabilities by Israeli fighter pilots that will make the Blue Angels jaws drop! .

I agree 100%....GW won't have to do anything except take the phone call from Sharon a few minutes ahead of the strike. Those new bunker buster bombs we gave or sold to Israel are the new and improved version and were given to Israel for a specific use I think.
