It's been awhile since I last wrote to you. I recently received some burnt CD's of godsmack, & tool. And a Live DVD of Evanescence from a guy at work. Though I haven't listened to godsmack yet, I did spend a little time on you tube listening to tool, and I wasn't very impressed.

I watched a couple of songs from the DVD. That girl can sing, but I'm still not convinced she's as good as Celine Dion.

Till I hear from you. Take care, and don't drop the soap.

well i've been listening to some iron maiden at work. edward the great to be exact. hard to listen to whole disc. i move from room to room. anyways the pants ordered the metallica S&M from netflicks. not bad, caught both micro and macro brews air drumming to lars. thats a good sign brutus. i recently played the RIR dvd and both boys are naturals. makes a dad happy to see his boys loving Rush.

anyways i'll send some money to you for smokes.

Dear Brutus

I've listened to two of Tool CD's so far. If you like Alice in Chains you'll definetly like Tool. The singer has a good voice, though he's NO Bruce Dickenson. The youtube I listened to didn't do him any justice. The drummer is very good to. Plenty of long songs. I'm not sure if I'd call them epic yet, but long.

Avoid the sisters.

I saw Iron Maiden w/ Anthrax back in like '88 or '89. It was my first metal show, and I thought it was really cool how everyone lit their lighters right when the band came out. And then there was that funny smell...

So how many here like Iron Maiden? I was born and raised on Rush...but Two years ago I was born again! when I was introduced to the Iron Maiden 2001 Rock in Rio DVD. I was hooked line and sinker after watching 250,000 souls singing along to Fear of the Dark. I've successfully converted 2 people to the Dark side, my sister-inlaw will be 3. Don't mean to ramble, but UP THE IRONS.

P.S. Brutus is a pen pal of NeiL Peart, mentioned in his Ghost rider book.

letter to brutus,

well i'm done for the day and am enjoying my favorite poison... McCallan single malt scotch. been watching two dvds' lately, one is Primus, their last tour together when they played frizzle fry in its entirety which by the way i saw here in portland... brewer must be getting old cause that was the show that brewer grabbed a rude drugged out mosher by the neck and slammed him to the concrete floor. last show i've seen. so the dvd brings back memories brutus. you were still incarcerated on drug charges at that time. the other dvd is les claypool with ALL of his other projects. frog brigade (seen them twice now) the holy macherale. and a show with Buckethead. brutus, there's a rather odd geetar player. then the other odd dvd i listen to is the BeeGees at the mirage in reno.

well did you recieve the $$$ for smokes?

the brewer

Dear Brutus,
I recently took a drive down memory lane by reading a letter about the Kalama river...anyway.

Brewer said "brewer must be getting old cause that was the show that brewer grabbed a rude drugged out mosher by the neck and slammed him to the concrete floor."

That must have been the Camas High school gym show. ;\)

Say hello to Carrie.
