Thanks for the response DwioLZLE and welcome to this site.We had some good times at Coffeepot this year and found some great fish.We use 1/16th oz jigheads and little Crappie baits and them big Rainbows over there suck them right up.

Yep, wooly buggers knock em dead in the springtime! Usually all you have to do is troll them, but when things slow, try this. Get it as deep as you can with a fast sink line, then strip and rip it to the surface as fast as you can. Oh yeah, and HOLD ON TIGHT!!! Coffeepot's rainbows are possessed or something! Various bloodworms and chironimids also work well in the shallows.

Yep, March 1st, provided this ice departs. The weather was looking conducive to a Spring thaw last week, but with the present temps it's not looking good! Let's all cross our fingers
