Has any one made it out largemouth fishing this year, we have a house on a small farm pond but fishing there doesnt heat up until the water warms a bit. When the water is cold and the bass are lethargic are they holding in the deepest part of the lake. If so how might I target these fish.

I haven't made it out this year....Might try this weekend...

Try some soft plastics (worms, senkos, lizards) or a jig...
Fish em slow and deep with scent and let us know how you did. Some of the other guys who do more bass fishing will probably pitch in their comments later...

I went out today but couldn't boat anything. Drop shot is good but i wouldn't use a senko. Try 3" finesse worms or small flukes. Jerk baits and jigs are great super slow and deep. Use your electronics for depth and structure. If you go with a jig and pig combo try a 1/4th oz and keep it light. Spinning gear with light line. Surface temp only got to 48 today so good luck!
