In looking around, and searching deeply within different stores and the realms of the internet, the only damn hiking boots and shoes I can find in a 15 4E wide (MUST have the extra wide!!) seem to be propet, Dunham and new balance... Anyone familiar with Propet footwear? It seems modestly priced ($75-100), which scares me a bit The Dunham's seem a bit pricier.. I might be interested in those as well.. Thanks in advance T

LOL.. Thanks Willy I dunno how those would work for a waterproof hiking boot, but dammit, it's a shot!

Propet sounds French and Dunham Irish. Either would be a perfect match for you and the masculine berry brew you seem to prefer. ttt

Seems like all I'm still seeing in my sizes are the three above mentioned names, and I don't think the new balance line is what I'm lookin for, but thank you Larry! Mark: I wish I could just save some cash... you should see the bill I racked up with Simms today.....

Tom,
I have had a pair of Dunham's and I liked them alot. My 15/16's are only regular width.

Thanks for the backup, Troller Those are the ones I'll definitely be buying!! I need durability, and I'd like the ability to keep my feet dry, so hopefully, they'll keep my feet dry!
