Alright the hunting forum is pretty dead this time of year. So who is going out for spring bear or turkey? I think I'm going to give turkey a shot this spring because I havent been turkey hunting in a long time. I think I have a decent spot figured out. There always there when I go to that spot, no matter what time of year. I just hope that everybody else dosent know about it.

I'm planning to get out for some turkey. I just bought some property near Leavenworth, so I'll be doing some exploring in the Swakane/entiat area trying to find some birds. I know there aren't a ton of turkeys over there, but will still be fun to get out and explore. Has anyone hunted turkeys in that area? Or seen turkeys up there while deer hunting? Any general advice would be greatly appreciated, so I can try and cut down the scouting area. Thanks.

Try going down the columbia south of Wenatchee. I haven't been to the area but have hunted quail at the wildlife area (can't recall the name). i talked to the gentleman that lives on the wildlife area and he told me there was a decent number of turkeys.
