No, it's not another fishing derby.

I think drunken debauchery is way under-rated in our society.

But to each his own as regards Rocky Mountain oysters. I'll stick with the real deal, small oyster shooters along with a bottle of chilled white wine. Man, I am so refined.

Irie,
13hrs to Missoula? you do know the speed limit is 70+ all the way there?!? I can make Bozeman in 10+hrs, Missoula in 7 max (add and hour for the drive up from Oly).
And yeah, I've thought about going on a "fishing trip" there as well, heard it is a blast! The fishing on ROck Creek is pretty hot too.

Just got back from Rock Creek on Sunday. 6:45 From Missoula to Edmonds...

The fishing was okay, mix of bows, browns, cuts and brooks, caught 30 some Friday, 25 Saturday and 1 Big Cut on Sunday (weather change) before we headed home.

Never been to the festival, saw the signs and heard about the crowd. For those interested, the giant sign with the website address stuck in my head...http://www.testyfesty.com/

BTW, the breakfast at the restaurant another mile up the road from the lodge is killer.

Thats when traveling with a 5 year old girl with a bladder the size of a peanut, and a wife that wants to stop at every town you pass.
