I was asked to be a chaperone for my niece's all night grad party for a high school on the OP. What a good time. Out of about 240 grads, about 220 were at the party. The kids were polite, said 'please' and 'thank you' and were a genuine treat to be around. My niece's friends that I've met all came up and thanked me for being there, as did some kids I've never met. There were only two kids that caused problems- one girl was drunk and one drunk boy tried to come in that didn't go to school there, but both issues were quietly taken care of.
The parents are involved with their kids and it showed. If only one percent fulfill their potential, the world will be a better place. The hardest part for me was staying up until 5 am Sat. I don't look at the morning from that direction much any more.
