Dave, seriously, ya gotta lay off the smoked salmon bellies man. I know they taste good but ya gotta have some self control. My wife snuck around your house and snapped a couple photos of you working on your next book and was a little concerned. She thought I should arrange an intervention for you, seems the recent addiction to smoked salmon bellies, amongst other things has gotten to you. That is too many calories man. If you keep this up your gonna have to start buying two airline tickets for your travels. Really, at least cut back on the amount of sugar you've been using in the brine. Here is a pic she took of you, hope ya don't mind me posting it on here, but it's for your own good.... Oh, by the way, you might want to consider trimming your beard before going out in public. Seriously though, July 16th, beach fishing for kings, gonna be fun. You'll have to give it a day.

Why you little whippersnapper! If you beleive what your wife said, you are simply to naive to beleive. She was at my house, and WE were naked. That's about all you need to know. She did say she loved looking for Mr. Binkey in the rolls. I guess it's kinda like an Easter egg hunt for her. As for the beach fishing ,I would love to do it but will be in Craig with Robo. But I will be glad to school ya on the coho this fall.

I almost knew that response from you was immenent. There is one month to get those kings off the beach, so I know where my time will be spent. You can school me if ya want on the fall silvers, I need to be taught a few things now and then. That is some fun times when you see the schools heading towards ya from down the beach. Then the acrobatic hook ups will get your blood running.

There is plenty of kings right now rolling by the beach at Mutiny Bay, for some reason they get super close to shore even though it is not a steep beach right when they enter Mutiny Bay, a little south of the Windmill hole. In the evenings you can see them just rolling along, heading to a river near you. I'll make sure to smoke up the bellies when it opens up. There are quite a few sockeye cruising by too.
Hit me up J.G. when you are gonna hit the beach. I got some not so crowded access available if the crowds show up.

Jerry, what are you going to Vegas for? Getting remarried? Do you plan on fishing at all this year?

Good timing Oneway. The walk to the beach below your house will be a little on the front side for the pinks, but perfect for hauling up kings to your kitchen. I just stalked up today on my kings catchers for the beach, getting excited.
