I'm not touching a thing so that the buyer can do all that work themselves. Purists seem to like to do that stuff themselves.
I've had an offer for $14K, that didn't include all the transport that guy would have had to pay to get it to the UK. Grandma is hoping for $18K. So I guess we'll see what folks say at the show.
Problem is there are no comps to compare it to, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Anyone know where I could expect to get some favorable feed back for listing a car for my Mom? She doesn't drive but has a 1973 Grand Torino in excellent shape. 2 door hardtop with a vinyl top(red car, white top). Dad passed away and it has just been sitting in the garage in eastern Oregon. Thanks for any help as I don't have a clue on this. Bill

I'd try Googling for a Gran Torino or a general Ford enthusiats web site first and see what turns up. Also - check ebay. Taking pics and having info such as motor size, tranny type and mileage helps to be able to compare against what is out there for sale. That might get you started. That type of car has creditials - Starsky and Hutch had one and one was in "The Big Lebowski".

Kaiser,
Great idea, but it's grandmas retirement. Paid off decades ago. 10 year wait is not an option. Someone else will get the fruits of it if you are correct.
Not my car, I'm just the "marketing" guy (grandma can't even spell PC).
My friggin inbox is exploding from all the UK guys who cant make it. And all the silent types from CA, AZ and Canada are already here to sniff test her tomorrow. This should be fun.

Try automotiveforums.com, or look for a cult-like site for Torinos. There has to be some out there.

Thanks , Chuck E. I will give the suggestions a try. Will have to go to Moms' to take pictures and get info.

Wow, seeing that car brings up memories. I once drove all the way down to LA in the back of one of those things when I was 16.
