Done.
I have several calibers to choose from.
Do me a favor and kill me first if I do the same.
I'm putting my old lady down today.
I just wish it was the ex wife instead of the dog.

She's talking about getting two lawyers and fighting this thing tooth and nail. I could give a [censored]. If she takes everything I own I'll be rich in friends and I'll be happy, which is something she will never be.

Most women are not rational. Hell it's a community property state. The only thing a lawyer is going to do is run up the bill leaving her with less money.
Have fun with your nieces this weekend and try to forget about it.

Pick the lock on her car and stick an 8 ball in the ashtray. Then wait till she goes somewhere and call the cops from a pay phone.

Seastrike is right, don't fight it out with attorneys.........it'll cost you a ton. My second divorce cost me my house, car, boat(she sold immediately), $20K lump sum, $800 per month maintenance, $1,000 per month child support for my son(joint custody by the way) and my attorney charged me $17,000 for all that excellent work.

Let things cool a bit. Talk nicely and compromise. There is a mediation-style business in Everett that some of my clients have used and it really works. PM me if you want info.

Good luck. Go fishing.

Get a female attorney to represent you ASAP. Weak women have trouble whinning when confronted with a strong female that is self made, such as one with a Law degree. If you get a male attorney, it will be the battle of the sexes, and in court most times we lose in that senerio. Strong acertive women (female attorney) vs. women that earn there way by flat backing on men, or laying on the couch all day and whinning about it, is very revealing in the presence of other strong females, Counselors, Therapist or Judges.

As Aunty said, stand up to her. Have an attorney friend recommend a good female divorce lawyer, and then let her handle everything and go fishing. No need to wrangle with the wife anymore as that will get you no where anyway. Remember, you are in a War Zone. Let her ( your attorney) know what your concerns are, and have her speak to your soon to be X directly or through her attorney. I bet you, your wife will show more respect for your position and needs than she would if it was another male that she was confronting as your attorney.

It worked for me. A dysfunctional marriage can cause misery, disease and death. Much better to move on with your life and look forward to much better choices for dating and relationships.

Take a look at your own behavior and needs and figure out what you like in a relationship in addition to the sex. This is a time for healing as well, so fish hard and spend time taking care of number one.

Good luck man, and congratulations on a new beginning.

You never really get to know a woman until you meet her in court.

Sol, get a good lawyer so you dont get your throat ripped out.

Jen is one of the coolest chicks I've ever met, and she helped me to see what I could have, as did Shela. That was one of the funnest nights I've ever had.

Trust me when I say any woman I spend time with in the future will have no problems with men in general.

Speaking from experience here, spend the money on a good attorney. I can't say that it has to be a woman. I tried that route and the female attorney I found didn't want to work for me as hard as I wanted her to. You will pay the price one way or the other in child support and maintance. You can bet that you’re soon to be ex will get the best "your" money can buy. You will get over being snake bit in a few days, weeks, months, years, decades. Give yourself some time to decide what you want from a relationship before you start one. Stam may have access to the "ranch" and you can try something a bit different. Not all women are Biatches, some can make very fine companions and if you share a few interests outside the bedroom it will be that much better. Don't ever let your anger with the ex get in the way of your relationship with your children and don't let them down by crawling into a bottle or pipe.
Cancel all creditcards that are in both of your names and pull out half of all the money in the bank before she pulls it all out. Don't rack up a bunch of debt and make sure that she can't do it in your name either or you will get stuck with it. Get all your personal belonging out of the house if you want to keep them or expect to buy them back in the settlement or off of Craigslist. Throw all you’re fishing and hunting gear in your boat and stick in a friends garage. Don't let her get a restraining order against you before you get your stuff or say good by to it.

Sol, never met or fished with you,but you seem like just another one of us caught in the trap. I will share with you one thing that I was told by an older, wiser guy I worked with years ago. When I was in the same boat as you. He said no matter what you do in the settlement, buy her out of your pension now or regret it later. He did this and I did too and never regretted it. I told my ex like he did his, "you can agree to this or I guarantee you that you will be getting 1/2 of nothing because I will not continue to add to this pension and I will NEVER draw a dime from it as long as you are alive." You have to let her lawyer know you are dead serious about that. You are about the same age as I was and can still put together a good retirement and fish all you want starting now.It will be tight and a little difficult to start with, but like a new mortgage it will be a very good investment down the line. Even if they call you on it, you will take less of a hit now and it will help towards starting over on a new retirement.
Good Luck Bill

"Don't let her get a restraining order against you before you get your stuff or say good by to it."

I have had to read a lot of dissolution files because of what I do for a living. I've never been down that road personally but one thing I do see is that the restraining order is often filed with the first summons etc. Generally, it ties up EVERYTHING and you can't do much without a stipulated court order.

Good Luck Sol.

I've got a .45 and a shovel with your name on it, bro.

You get serious with a women again, and I seriously doubt anyone would miss you. I'll see to that.

I've got your back on this one. \:D

Good luck with what is sounding like an ugly situation. The only thing I can offer is a recommendation for a kick-ass divorce attorney. He's one ruthless SOB - and my fraternity bro. If you took his advice, you'd come out as well as one could expect in this state (which isn't saying a lot, as guys get F*cked in this state when it comes to divorces and child custody).
