Grated Fresh Ginger (palm size piece) Organic Green Tea (Bags or Loose) Chai Masala 1 1/2 tsp (Indian Style Spice for Tea) Travelers brand Seattle @ 501 E. Pine Street
Bring to a boil in a herbal tea pot (clay is best, stainless OK, but never aluminum) and serve. Sweeten with Honey or the sweetener of your choice.
This was our favorite drink at Yoga Teachers Training for the last 2 weeks over near Leavenworth. Umm Delicious!!!!!!

mixed drinks = yuk! except maybe margaritas. Don't forget a bloody mary made from scratch, not the premix crap with vodka. Best Hangover Remedy Ever. Don't skimp on the horseradish or tobasco. A good Mojito is also hard to beat. If you want to get DRUNk, try a Timberwolf. One part Jaegermeister with one part Rumpelminze. Best if you keep both parts in the freezer before mixing. If anyone has an epic Sangria recipe, please share ![smile \:\)](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/smile.gif)

Ice cold Patron unpolluted. Good tequila can be sipped like the sweet nectar of life that it is. I love marg's but I use the cheap stuff for it. If you get the chance try Cuervo's Reserva de la Familia. So far my favorite premium tequila. I can't afford a whole bottle, but will buy a glass when I can find it. I'd recommend a Macanudo Portofino to smoke with it. I've been hitting those since I was 17, the smoke keeps away the mosquitos. A medium bodied yet flavorful cigar. Connecticut shade wrappers, and Dominican Republic filler. It is one of my favorite sins. VHawk

JLH, doesn't sound like you can get a buzz off of that tea.
Here's a tea recipe for you:
Fresh picked mushrooms from your yard. Boil in water. Strain. Add tea bag. Drink somewhere safe.
Now that's some potent tea and it'd probably go well with your yoga.

No thanks! You can make that one for yourself.
My official Drink Recipe is as I listed previously, and it come with a bite (spicey) not a buzz. My choice of drinks often allows for a safe and pleasant experience, without a hangover, regrets or DWI's. Conditions that are conducive to being present for full enjoyment and bennefits of Yoga and meditation.
I'll leave the buzz stuff for you to enjoy.

Last I checked drinking doesn't always have to involve: getting buzzed/drunk, getting a DUI or getting a hangover...

Honestly, If you don't drink why would you click on this thread, much less post on it?
Go dig up the Friends of Bill W thread. It's made for you. I click on the tread because the title was "Official Drink Recipe". The item I listed is considered a drink in the world I live in. Same as KoolAid, lemonAid ect. If the tread was titled alcoholic drinks or hallucinogenic drinks, then I would have past by. The drink I listed is one that is favored by many that have tried it. It qulifies because it's my "Official Drink Recipe". A drink as I see it is any liquid that we prepare or pour and swallow. Everyone drinks to stay alive. Alcohol does not have to be present in order to qualify a liquid as a drink or does it? Maybe the title should be changed in order to not confuse people as myself, that they can have a drink (liquid) recipe without the alcohol or a requirement to get buzzed. Some people as myself, don't place alcohol or drugs at the center of the universe, for reference in communicating human functions and needs, such as drinking, breathing. eating etc. I hope this clears things up a bit as to where I'm coming from. I didn't attack anyone for their choice of drink, and I don't expect that there should be the need to attack me or my choice. The drink I shared is also good and wholesome, like I assume many of the others listed are, even though I didn't review many. BTW, in these threads I take what I can use, and leave the rest. That way I don't have to get into personalities. To each his own I say. Namaste'

I've heard you shouldn't drink the Koolaid.
JLH, stop thinking with your clear mind. You're confusing us drinkers.

I never tried green tea with ginger, and I don't have any idea what that other stuff is, but it sounds interesting JLH. We drink green tea every day. I like it with orange zest and a cinnamon stick in it, for it's blood sugar lowering properties. Aunty, Masala contains: Green Cardamon, Cinnamon, Dried Ginger root ( I also add fresh), Cloves, Black pepper, Fennel and Nutmeg. You are right about cinnamon as it does helps to regulate blood sugar. Also good for spicing up libido. Aunty you would love this drink, I'm sure.

Why mess anything up???
Beer, Longboard lager, Alaskan Amber, Redhook, and of course Moosedroole. Or now I know, something from Pat's shop.
Vodka water
Patron gold or silver will do
Whiskey water, no ice
Crown on the rocks
Anything else is a waste, wine makes me crazy, mixed drinks ruin the drink, Rum, oh rum, stay away from that stuff.
