Lots of deer died around McCleary today, yesterday and Friday. Heard a number of shots and saw two nice deer that friends got.

Waiting for the "early" late ML season to get my oldest boy a buck, and then the "late" late season for a doe if it takes him a bit. I almost wish I didn't tag out earlier, as I love this late season.

Yep. I am looking forward to it. I have a few weekends of late elk to hunt first so won't be heading out until December, but am looking forward to several long weekends in the woods.

Already harvested in the early season. My partner and I both drew antlerless tags and filled them (extreme east side). It was both of our first season deer hunting with smokepoles. I usualy bowhunt for deer and muzzle for elk but thought I would mix it up this season. Got my first deer with a smokepole it was a big mulie doe. My partner got his first deer ever, a whitetail doe. Both wheat fed and delicious.

Headed out yesterday and today with my oldest son. Hunted one of the "any deer" units and ended up seeing three today, one was in a yard, one on the road (asphalt), and another that took off across the clearcut like it knew the "bad man" was near.

I have some tired boys, as they rode their bikes and hiked a fair distance today.
