We ran into Brian today, and saw Riley and Todd drive by. The drive along the coast today was horrible. Towing a boat in snow up to 6" is not fun (Kalaloch-Neilton). Only had it sideways two times.
Thanks guys (and ladies) for an awesome time, good food, and some great laughs.

Didn't fish the Bogie today Just got back and, uhhhhg, The drive was brutal. 6 inches on the ground from a little east of Seiku until Sequim, then sunshine there of course, then back to snow all the way to Kingston. Snowing solidly from Edmonds to Woodinville.

I was wondering about you, Andy...it took me 3 1/2 hours to get to Aberdeen, and another 3 hours to get to Seattle...the only time it wasn't snowing to all get out was between Forks and Upper Hoh Road, and between Lacey and Ft. Lewis...other than that it sucked, and bad.
Saw two rollover accidents, one right in front of me...a jacknifed semi...I got sideways a few times, but managed to get it back straight before anything bad happened.
I've drive to Forks and back in crappy weather before (who hasn't?), but I think that the 6 1/2 hour drive time today was a new record for me.
Good thing I caught all those fish on Wednesday and Thursday...Friday sure didn't pan out the way we all hoped!
Fish on...
Todd

A couple pics... After a forever battle and some good teamwork, this mighty fine little girl was subdude by the chic otherwise known as Blondbud. Stam, oh, I mean Stimply helping my wife out with her fish. NOTE: As we passed under this bridge, there were three guys fishing, one had his rod upside down, reeling with his spinning reel on top of his rod, with a plastic red and white bobber. I was making fun of him while we passed, then I looked down at the light purple barbie rod I was using before making a cast, I quickly decided to shut up. Some nice views... D u d e s, what's up.. These guys look like they are up to something, maybe they saw the moon. Sol taking aim. Bob loading his cannon. But, what you should note is the two nice steelhead in the right of the picture laying on the grass, then take a look at the two ugly dark fish in the mud behind and to the left of the bright ones, behind Bob's knee. That is an old summer run and a silver, those came from the big boys boat, yeah Bob's boat, nobody from their boat seemed to claim the fish, but Parker took the eggs. Stimply, aka Stamley... The river. The newly installed brass pole in Stams boat. Yes, my wife took a pic of me happy after the completion of the installation of it with the mighty fine help of Stam (actually he did most of the work), who played dad on the river all day. It was a bit "nipply" out to get much use. But, notice there are no pics of me, pants down, grinning, with Vhawks hand near my buttocks. Take out fun, watching boys play with there guns, by the way, Todd wins, but Bob's got game.

A great time for sure! Thanks to all that participated as Kev, Bob, Corey, Rowan, Jason and I got to see first hand what everyone's generosity was going towards. Gordy has a long road ahead, but with his spirit and will I believe it when he says "6 month...all I need is 6 months and we're gonna slay them fish". I wish you all could have been there. Going back to the original topic of this thread the fishing today was awesome! Kev, Jason, and I fished the ponds on the calawah and I got lucky and scored double winter chrome! The SRC winner a day late(8.8lbs) and a little 5-6lb brat. Fishing in a blinding snowstorm was incredible and what winter steelheading is all about! Thanks again Kev, Jason, and all who participated for a great weekend!

Sky Guy and I had a fun drive home too. First we fished the Hoko a bit
Then had a "scenic" drive home.
Sorry: My photos apparently didn't upload right. Ryley will post some soon.

Dave those photo's arent coming in for me.
The funniest moment of the day yesterday was actually at the end of the drive. We get back to my house after a really long drive, and Dave pulled up his new Honda to load his stuff into his car. He was either trying to find the 4WD button or the dome light, and clicked on his auto-sunroof button........, dumping the 6 inches of snow on top of his car right on his head in chunks as it retracted. Friggen hilarious! My 7 year old Olivia even came up and busted up laughing.
