Anyone catch that Siig Hanson from the Northwestern waved the 12th man flag at yesterdays game? Cool to see them pay tribute to a local legend like that. He must be about to depart soon up to the crab grounds.

He's probably a "local legend" in the Ballard Bar he sits at, but past that, come on, he's just a commercial crabber that got "famous" by a TV show.

Actually, one of my co-workers today also pointed out that Siig raised the 12th-Man flag. I missed about the first half of the first quarter. Got held up doing the fishing thing, but sure was glad to see that game...about time Hasselback started hitting the bullseye!

Parker, why don't you come down to my local watering hole and tell Sig how you really feel. I've met him many many times and fellow members here got to meet him last summer. When he gets back from AK he's very generous and sometimes he's just so drunk that we tell the bartender "Sig's buying" and he buys us a temporary intoxication pass.
