Most of those blades never see the light of day let alone actually using them. I do have a certain number that I carry on occasion but most of my blades stay locked up.

I wondered if the resemblance to a board members screen name would come up...

Nice pics. I'm a Old timer type of guy. I've carried the same dull, rusted knife for years.

Last photo - I have that 2nd-to-the top Fairbain! Tool cool!

I'll have to email you some photos/info of some older knives I have. I don't collect knives, but somehow have managed to scrap up a few.

I also don't collect zombie guns, but for some odd reason, I have a few of those, too!

I do have a couple reference books on collectible knives. You never know, they might be in there.

When the replica's like mine were sold I think they went for about $150.00
Case had two different releases of this replica knife. HG Long made a repro of this knife as well.
Cool link by the way.

Case went to a lot of trouble to make a beautiful reproduction of the original V-42. It's very well made and is finished very nicely. Its really too bad they provided such a cheap sheath with it. Having the correct sheath would have really made this a special piece.
It looks nothing like the original and looks really similar to the generic sheaths provided with the reproduction M3 Trench Knife's from Camillus. I have at least 5 different variations of the reproduction M3's as well as having 8 of the WWII originals.
