eddie Carcass Registered: 03/08/99 Posts: 2391 Loc: Valencia, Negros Oriental, Phi...	Sir Edmund Hillary passed away yesterday. I met him when I lived in NZ. What a genuinely nice guy. His feat of climbing Everest in 1953 was quite remarkable especially given the state of the art in mountaineering technology at the time. His service to the people of Nepal was legendary.
