Wow. Dude is lucky as s**t.

There are two types of motorcyle drivers....Those that have crashed and those who haven't...The drivers who have crashed usually aren't the ones weaving thru lanes on 405 doing 80...

Damn! Only way to become an old motorcycle rider is to survive your mistakes. But THAT'S one helluva mistake! OUCH!

Clearly operator error.

...reminds me: last summer I was passed by a guy doin' well over the limit while lying down backwards on his crotchrocket. His feet were steering and he laying down on his back with his arms crossed on his chest...

I love my bike, but I'm no where near THAT bold!

I was gonna say by the posture of his body that he looked dead. I rode for 7 years, with 4 of those being year round and the MC was my only source of transport (poor college student).

Two types of MC riders. Bold one, and old ones. Not very many bold old ones. Sad to see Indian Larry go.

I gave up riding " organ doners " a long time ago.

Yikes, that was one to many lane changes for that guy. Could you imagine walking behind you truck and seeing that sticking out. Enough to give you the heebee jeebees.

I too gave up riding a long time ago after accident number two. Number one was a drunk driver and number two an old man driving on the wrong side of the road. I figured three strikes and you check out. Now I prefer some metal between me and the pavement.

Jeez...he hit so hard his shoes flew off...or were dragged off.

It's dangerous enough being on I-5 with Washington drivers in a full-size truck.

I had a little Honda back in College and had enough close calls & laydowns to make me think twice about getting another, but every so often I find myself at a motorcycle shop...'just looking.'

That $1.75 fill up and 125 miles per tank was sure nice.

If I do get another I doubt if I'd chance riding on a WA freeway with all these retards around here.

I went through a '64 dodge pick-up about 10-12 yrs ago on a FZR 600 doing 108 MPH according to the sheriff that measured my skid and calculated the point of impact. I know that sounds like a total lie, but it's true. Helmets save lives, I was extremely lucky to walk away from that and live to tell about it another day. Lots of other guys just wind up as "donors". Too bad.

I used to mountain bike a lot and we had a saying - "I'd rather wear a helmet than a colostomy bag." ;\)

In case you couldn't put it together, I'll say it again. The ones who are driving on their back wheel haven't laid the bike down yet or gotten in a crash...The responsible drivers aren't doing any of that fancy s**t or tailgaiting you...
