We climbed to the top of Beacon Rock in the Columbia Gorge several summers back. That is a small ezample of that type of enginuity back years ago.Terrific view from on top.Not as much pucker factor.

I've hiked a few places in my time, but there always had to be lake, river, pond.....something to fish at the end. Otherwise, there are vehicles of all sorts to have fun in.....you rock squirrels can have all them rocks.
