I saw on the news there is a road side coffee shop in Puyallup that has Baristas dressed in bikini's. There are some locals that are offended by the dress code.

I bet their tip jar is running it's bank. I'm personally not offended by this but wouldn't want my daughter working there. If gas wasan't 4.00 a gallon I might have to do a recon for a more objective view.

Maybe they might open a franchise on the eastside??

We've got "Esspresso Gone Wild" up here. They don't even wear bikini tops, they were pasties on Pasty Tuesday and Pastry Friday. Not that I've been there. Some friends told me about it.

I bet the tips those girls get is about 3x their daily post-tax income.

And considering what kind of girl would be a barista in Bonney Lake, I suppose it's either a high paying job like that or slinging flapjacks at Denny's for 1/10th the money during the graveyard shift. At least this way they can earn enough to learn to become a hairdresser or "fingernail technician" once they get knocked up by their loser boyfriend & that cute lil rump drops like an old duffel bag.

They are doing nothing illegal, so more power to 'em.

They've been showing variations of this story on the local news for about two weeks. For once, the news has been worth watching.

Every time I drive by the Cowgirls espresso in Monroe there is a line of construction trucks and jacked up pickups. I just have to laugh at how ridiculous it is that someone is wiling to drop 10 bucks on coffee and a tip in order for 3 or 4 minutes worth of flirting.

It's kind of insulting that they think I'll part with my money to view a chick in a swimsuit for three minutes. Apparently it works though. Last week on the radio I heard how much more they make in tips and it was significant. I'm curious what the logic is for guys leaving big tips. Leaving a couple of extra dollars isn't gonna buy a piece of ass.

There are two Cow Sisters espresso stands within four blocks of each other right by where I live...one is on my way to to the freeway, so I hit it about once a week, and the young ladies working there are usually wearing thongs and teddies...thong and bras on warm days.

They get the same $1 tip they got before they changed apparel.
