Oil surged almost 11.00 a barrel today , gas should jump 15-20 cents a gallon early next week. Looks like 150.00 a barrel is a slam dunk.....%#&@#$$*&^

what til you come to Canada, our gas is already $5.45 a us gallon at many locations. Diesel is $5.85 a us gallon at many locations. Your gas is still cheap by our standards up here. On July 1 no matter what oil prices do , our fuel will jump another $.10 a gloon due to a new carbon tax on it.

Yesterday was the second time it's cost me over $50 to fill the Outback. It's a constant reminder of why I passed on buying the F-250 diesel. Even so, I might start riding my bike to work for economics, since it's too short a ride for fitness.

Hard to believe that a gallon of gas is nearly equal to the price of a barrel of oil...from just ten years ago. Amazing how much has changed in that short of a time period.

Look at King County's predicament/solution...$68 million shortfall/so Ronny's solution is to cut Public Safety (Law Enforcement). Crime rate will rise with cost of living, gas, etc. That will help....F*ck ME!

It will come down. I read an article on the amount of hedge funds trading oil and the traders are trading more share on the Euro desk than the american desk, because we have a limit. Some are trading on both and the price gets bounced around like a tether ball on a rope.

The biggest reason it went up was the comments from Israel and Iran. I think the dollar fell again a little bit after the Fed chair inserted his foot.
Oil had dropped for two or three days in a row. Its common to buy the dip on an upward trend.

Another broker just made the prediction of 150. That give cowards with money a reason to play. Wallstreet says they want McCain, but they will elect OBama if oil stays up.
