Jhook...here's your third opportunity...
Tell us what it is Palin brings to the table? Tell us how she is anti-pork. Tell us how she can see Russia from some place in Alaska.
You've had three chances now, and while you seem to think she's the savior of the Republican party, you haven't once yet been able to tell us why.
Either step up, or shut up.
Fish on...
Todd

Jhook must be getting some love....
Here's my 3 plus a bonus one:
1. She's a soccer mom turned politician...she got involved with the local issues that affected her, and made enough of an impact to run for city Mayor.....In short she made her actions speak louder, than just lip service.
2. Sarah ran for Governor, beat the R Incumbent. Fought corruption from with her own party, instead of going along with the status quo. In short she's her own woman, and doesn't bow to intimidation.
3. She wants to drill for natural resources in Alaska...(Evan though McCain doesn't) because she knows it creates jobs for the people of Alaska, as well as revenue...In short she's smart enough to go after economic growth.
4. She's made mistakes, and was smart enough to ask for an investigation for possible ethics violations...In short she's not dumb.

Todd I'll step up when you shut up Todd. You trash Palin, I'll quote Biden. Don't like it? Tough. Tell me what Biden's bringing to the table? He can't even remember Obama's name! You want that quote also? All the crap you libs have been able to dig up on Palin has done nothing but solidify her camp. And it's driving the dems nuts. What's the problem? You don't have to vote for her and if everyone is as smart as you are Obama will win in a landslide. Won't he? Then of course just maybe everyone isn't as smart as you are? Dang!

Wait until she has to debate Joe Biden...she's gonna get her ass handed to her.
It may alienate a few folks who love her because she hunts moose and is a woman (even though they, too, know she's not even qualified to run a Subway restaurant), but the other 99.876% of the electorate will see that the sham has ended, and that she's woefully not up to the job.
Fish on...
Todd You gotta love a guy who has to tell others how much smarter he is than them. This isn't the only time he's swung from the trees and beat his own chest. I'm sure he's so smart he knows what's best for all of us. Kind of like how Hillary ran her campaign. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1j0FS0Z6hoDoes anyone think there will be real change if we elect BO as opposed to JM? I don't. Both parties are the same. It's only about getting elected. Helping the people doesn't mean [censored]. Their first debate is about foreign policy rather than the economy during a period when our economy should have been the number one issue. You know why they couldn't switch the debate back to our economy? Because neither side is smart enough to have an impromptu debate when they've been studying the questions about foreign policy for the past two weeks. Give me a [censored] break. Joe Biden sits there and tells everyone how smart he is..... Not much different than reading this forum. It's not about the politicians ruining our country. The American people are too [censored] lazy to get off their asses and make their voice heard. What we're going thru financially in this country would have gotten people marching in the streets 30 years ago. Looking for change. Asking "if these two parties are leading us down this path, maybe we should look somewhere else." Instead, we read the poles, point our fingures, and tell the other side we're smarter than them and know what's best for them. F that. The media basically picks our nominees for us and we get to decide whether we want to pick up a pile of steaming dog S#@t or clean out the litter box. Gotta love it!

Non-partisan here. With what we've faced the last 8 years the D's should have had this in the bag a year ago. Instead, they have to tell half the people how wrong they are hoping for a gaff from the other side to win this election. Pretty pathetic.
I'll defer to the experts here.... Todd & KK? Why is this race so close? Fear mongering? Biased media? Or, are we all just too stupid to see what you apparently know that the rest of us don't? This race shouldn't even be close. Maybe some folks just don't like your option as the next president.
As for Palin. At least she has a driver's license and knows how to operate a motor vehicle. That puts her one step above the career politicians who have helped us get to where we are now. Take JM out of it and I might just vote for her. At least she'd be just dumb enough to put smart people in position to make her look good.
I run a small business. I hire people based on how they can help my company in different ways. They do their jobs better than I could but they also can't do my job as well as I do. Doesn't mean I'm any smarter than them. That's what I want out of my president.

This race isn't nearly so close as you'd be lead to believe.

My education in real life would indicate a large portion of our population still won't vote for a black man. They wouldn't have voted for a woman such as HC either. That's not my position. It's just reality. I hope your margin for error takes that into account. If Gore couldn't win after 8 Clinton years and Kerry couldn't win after 4 GW years I don't see much hope for who the D's have thrown out there this time.
We'll see soon enough thank god. Having our presidential race go on for 3 years doesn't do our country any good. All the money that has been raised on both sides.... Where's it coming from? Not the little guy. It's going to be paid back some how and I fear it won't be the little guy who benefits.
Again, gotta love it?

If your voting to "pick up a pile of steaming dog S#@t or clean out the litter box." I hope you don't choke on it if ya win.

More conservative columnists think she is the wrong choice. Tic, tic,tic..... http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/30/us/politics/30palin.html?hp“I think she has pretty thoroughly — and probably irretrievably — proven that she is not up to the job of being president of the United States,” David Frum, a former speechwriter for President Bush who is now a conservative columnist, said in an interview. “If she doesn’t perform well, then people see it. A number of conservative columnists and thinkers have publicly turned against her, or criticized Mr. McCain for choosing her, including George Will, David Brooks and Kathleen Parker, who wrote a column entitled “She’s Out of Her League” for the National Review Online.
