I was getting worried, it had been almost 10 minutes since you big, tough liberal guys beat up on Palin. In case you don't know, the Presidential race is between McCain and Obama. All I hear is that McCain is 72 and will die in office. If that guy can take the crap he dealt with in Vietnam, I think he can make it to 76.
Plus, my job is a retirement planner and most of my clients are in their 70's. Should I tell them as we sit around the kitchen table discussing their investments that it doesn't matter since they are all going to die before age 76?
My father is 75, lifts weights, and walks 36 holes of golf every weekend..........carrying his clubs. Oops, poor bastard, he's probably going to die next year.

Snake...if one of your clients was the President of the United States, then yes, it would matter who their running mates were, too...since they're not, it doesn't matter on a national scale.
Fish on...

Snake....... REALLY?! You got upset over THAT? C'mon man, its not the fault of the liberal left that the G.O.P. chose two candidates who are oh so easy to make fun of. As far as beating up on poor Sarah Palin goes....... Gimme a break, Palin is in a race for the Presidency/Vice-presidency of our Nation.... Anything goes in this arena, and if she happens to have character flaws, and those character flaws would make for some good satire, then I say go for it! Look, if you can find anything funny about Bidden, then by all means, poke away, and I'll laugh at him too. To address your issue with who the race is between, well the G.O.P. made the race about Palin as soon as they anounced her co-candidacy with McCaine, therefore nobody has any right to get bent outta shape for the amount of attention that Palin recieves. Additionally, Palin deserves more scrutiny than the "average" Vice-presidential candidate, as does Bidden, reason being that we have a dynamic that is truly unique to American presidential elections in that BOTH candidates are at an elevated risk of dying before their respective terms are served, McCaine from old age (yes, I know, your father is 75 and in good health, but that does not negate the fact that 70 something is getting up there) and Obama from some act of violence ( the FIRST black president in a nation full of rednecks, C'mon! ) so whoever is in that V.P. spot had better be capable of taking the reigns and leading this nation in what truly are some very trying times. Just one man's humble opinion.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Billary was in contention, there would be no less satire running through the veins of the inturnnet......just not sure as many here would "be hiitin it"

Kone Zone............ If Palin is REALLY capable of leading this country in a pinch, (she really ISN'T, but that's beside the point) then the fact that she is female would have ZERO bearing on this conversation whatsoever. You're not the first person to bring up the point that we are "picking on a girl" so to speak, so you are not totally alone in your stupidity....... You can at least take a bit of comfort from THAT. However, the fact that conservatives all over the country are bringing Palin's gender into play by negatively commenting on how the "Liberal Commies" are making fun of a girl just lends validity to the fact that Palin WAS chosen based on the fact that she is a woman in hopes of picking up some of the "Hillary" vote and NOT because Palin would make a good V.P. You people crack me up...... You run around calling Palin the "Pitbull" or the "Attack dog" but when others try to bring Palin to task when it comes to her lack of qualification, a whole bunch of rednecks speak up and act all offended because poor Palin is "just a girl". C'mon man, gimme a break. you cannot have it both ways and your show of faux chivalry does absolutely nothing to strengthen your argument that Palin is the right person for the job. If you really feel that a G.O.P. ticket is the way to go, then simmer down a bit and let the chips fall as they may...... I am sure that with as intelligent as our overall population is, the right choice will be made.... I mean, look we put Bush in office TWICE so what in the world could possibly go wrong? Additionally, the "Commie" label I'm sure was meant to offend, but in actuality a small dose of Marxism might be exactly what we need as the Fascist system of government we've been under for the past 8 years has not been working. KK........... YOU DA MAN!
