I have recently been reading some disturbing news articles regarding Sarah Palin and her support for the Pebble Mine development near Bristol Bay Alaska. It appears that Ms. Palin is in favor of a copper and gold mine operation that would likely kill off the largest run of Sockeye salmon in the world. When I first heard of the Mine news, I thought Ms. Palin would actually fight the Mine company due to the fact that her husband is a Bristol Bay fisherman and supports salmon (and thousands of other wildlife) habitat. WAS I WRONG. What a sell out. The almighty $ wins again.

What did you expect? There is a lot of money invloved and Palin wants her share.

I would like to say that I expected her to resist the greed and do the right thing, but am not surprised by the power of greed.

I wanted to bring this up on this board since I know there is alot of love for healthy habitat and healthy fish.
