The Seahawks made it interesting and so did the Huskies for about one series. What do the Seahawks need to retool and who do the Huskies need to hire to right the ship? Since I lived in Florida I have other teams to root for but Washington is home too and I love rooting for the home teams. Anymore its futile.............

This season is done. We got old and that is about the just of it. Matt still has a few good years but we need to improve the D and the O line has not been what it once was. Our wide outs are where we need the most work. Screw branch.....that SOB got all that money and has had on the side lines ever since. One hit and he is one the Dis list. Reminds me of alexander.....a little to prone to injury. Shiat, I think we need to start all over. Begin with the outside on O and D......then we work our way in and stop at jones, matt and our line backing core......they can all stay. The rest of them can take the short bus to the unemploy line.

The number one concern of mine is Jim Mora, currently coach of the DB's. Last year we had the same players in the backfield and only allowed 3 deep balls the entire season. This year it has been at least 3 deep balls a game. My question is why can the same players have two polar opossite seasons. Answer is coaching. This is very inconsistent coaching for a defense that is the same on the roster from last year. A lot of this is also the defensive coordinator plays calls as well.

The D line and linebackers are solid for what they do (small and fast).

Now as far as offensive skill positions. I think a half back that is a liitle bigger and younger would be nice. O line could use a few nice draft picks to work in the rotation. Recievers is where the money will be spent.

I think things will get better when Nate Burleson gets back. We have surely missed having the punt/kickoff returns he gave us.

Hopefully the Seahawks won't win many games this year. The season is gone and they need a impact player, I would grab Michael Crabtree from Texas Tech, hands down a stud ( big) receiver you need to win in this leauge. He won't be available after the 5th pick.

They also need to groom a Q back for the future, maybe Stafford if he is available when they pick. This team has a lot of holes to fill.

There is some good news this year, I think we found another diamond in the rough with Josh Wilson. The guy us a baller. He is exciting on returns, and he is also super human quick in coverage. He has made all of the big plays for us the last few weeks. If he was just a little taller he would be perfect.

As far as the DBs go. I hope that we move to a different D coordinator next year, and can replace Brian Russel as a safety. One of our huge problems is that he is limited physically because he is getting old. Mentally, he knows the game, but just can't make the plays. This means that we almost never play bump and run coverage, so we are susceptible to slants and in/out routes all day long. I believe that this is probably the answer to J7s question regarding the DBs.

Truf, Jennings and Wilson can all keep up with any receiver in the league, but they are constantly picked on quick outs, because they give 7 or 8 yard cushions of the LOS. Last year Truf was Pro Bowl, and it was because of 2 things 1) he wasn't wearing a cast and 2) he was really confident in the safeties. Russel lost a step and that is the problem.

Cant win too many games with captain ovious calling the plays either. How many times will it take getting stopped before he doesnt run a 3rd and long draw play or his patented 2 yard pass plays. Not fooling anyone with his play calling. The other coaches have got the walrus figured out.
