Since I don't get out in a boat too often any more I figured I would divest myself of some of the "un-needed" gear I have accumulated over the years.

Selling first are my plug rods:

2 ea. of the Lamiglas 1330T - Hot Shot Magnum's Lamiglas . Each has a Shimano Calcutta 251.

The rods are the Lamiglas 1330T's "Hot Shot Magnum" 8' - one piece. 3/8 to 2 oz. weights, and rated at 10-20 lb. line. Rod tips are very sensitive to plug movement, and with a little practice you can tell when even a leaf brushes by your working plug. Plenty of backbone too for those big, stubborn salmon and line ripping steelhead! (Many a PP member has landed a fish or 2 on these rods..LOL)

The reels are both Calcutta 251's, and they were only fished for a couple seasons and well cared for in that time. Currently they are void of line.

Anyone that's ever fished with me knows I take the best of care with my equip., and these were 2 of my best rods. Superb rods for backtrolling for Salmon and Steelhead, and also do a bang up job for plunking if you don't mind them being one piece. There isn't a mark to be found on the rods, and the cork grips are in superb shape. Reels have been well maintained, and show very little use other than afew very faint scratches.

Will take $300 for both rods/reels. If interested, respond here, or send me a PM and we'll get together.

The handles look fine to me as well. Mike if I didn't already have two sets of plug rods I would be all over that deal. I had the personal satisfaction of landing a 18lb Native a few years ago on one of those two set ups, I like em.

SkyGuy: I sold the boat early this year, as it just wasn't getting used at all. I still get out and fish, but mostly in the boulder gardens behind the house here, as the floods cleared out the sand, and now we have NEW boulder gardens right along my place banana.. I should be able to nail a few nice metalheads this year just fishing spoons off the beach..

BTW, the RODS ARE NOW SOLD. moose
