st croix avid 9'6" 8-12 casting rod. this rod has only been used 5 times it might as well still have the tags on it. only reason for selling is cause i want a gloomis 1263

Is 12# test the largest line you can use with the pole? For a baitcaster reel correct?

that is just suggested line rating. for warrentie concerns. and what the rod will fish best with.

the rod will fishes 15lb line nice, but 20 feels a tad bit heavy.

really a softer limper line will feel different then a stiffer line will when fishing.
