Looking for a 9.9-15hp 2 stroke outboard. Has to be a long shaft.

Mid '80s or newer.

Have cash and ready to buy.

Have an 89 or 90, don't remember think 89, 15 hp Evinrude LS. Ran great when I put it away in my garage ten years ago.

Also a 97 Suzuki 8 hp oil injected LS runs but not well. Was the excuse I was looking for to upgrade.

Make an offer I could use the space.

any idea what's wrong with the Suzi? I've been looking for an inexpensive kicker that would also work on the driftboat.

No idea. It came with my Arima and started acting up the week before I was heading on a fishing trip so I thought I'd bite the bullet and take it in. Mechanic wanted too much to tear it apart so I saw it as an opputunity to go to a four stroke. Never did take the time to take it apart and look. From how the original owner had his manual downriggers mounted I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get a cable or two in the prop, he didn't know much about fishing, but the spleens still looked good last time I greased them.
Real nice motor if you can fix her. Although my four stroke is the bomb!
