Try to clean up the shop and move the rods that are left from the 1998-99 fishing season. I have 11 new Gloomis rods that I need to sell.
All rods are custom built, GL3, IMX, GLX. With factory warranty, and 100% customer satisfaction.
IMX HS 1021C cork inset reel seat GL3 HS 1021C cork inset reel seat GL3 HS 981C GL3 ST 1025S cork inset reel seat IMX ST 1084C cork insert reel seat many more :-) [This message has been edited by TH (edited 08-20-1999).]

My contacts at GLoomis arn't saying much. I heard something last last winter about it, but I haven't been able to confirm anything.
Bob would probably know more than I...
But if you need a rod, just let me know what you are looking for and I'll give you a quote.
I would hate to see Gloomis change anything, I'm a huge fan of all of there rods.. and even the new Fly reels. :-)

River Dog- Actually it's the other way around. GLoomis is manufacturing the V rods for Shimano. A GLoomis employee told me. It even says handcrafted in Woodland, Washington USA. (GLoomis' factory is in Woodland, Big Hint!)

The plant in Woodland is still up and running. No major changes.. production is as it was in the past. No concerns or problems on my end. (except everyone wants rods/blanks so they are a little backed up, the turn around time is a little longer than normal.) ;-) TH www.thcustomrods.com

TH, I bought a rod from you last year, and I can attest to anyone reading this post that they are well built rods.
TH, I am looking for a float/jig rod for winter, how much is the 1263 and other longer rods. Will probably be fishing no more than 12 or 15lb test.

THANKS A LOT, it's always nice to hear from happy customers. :-) I would encourage you to look into an IM6 rod that we have been building lately. My opinion is that it is a better rod than the GL2 and less expensive. For example. I have a 10'6" (6-15) 3/8-3/4 lure weight, $175...+ shipping, it's a really nice rod... rootbeer brown in color. Compared to the GL3 1263 at $300 retail, ($250 TH price) it's a good deal. The IM6 rods also come with a warranty from us (TH Custom Rods) and the blank manufacture. If there is anything else I can do, please feel free to ask. TH www.thcustomrods.com
