Hot tub died a while back and being lazy as I am it has just sat there filling with rain water. I noticed yesterday that it seems to have a nice selection of small wee beastys swimming around in it. I think these would make good fish food. How do I get some salmon or steelhead fry to grow. I would just like to do my part as the state seems to be running out of money for such things. Also When they get big enough I could Catch and release right at home and do my part to save gas.. okbye JP

Don't forget propr in-river nutrients, maybe go catch/kill a 30lb nate and let it decompose in the hot tub...

When I was a kid I caught some "baby salmon" and put in them in and old 20 gallon aquarium. They all jumped out the first night. So I caught some more and put a piece of wood on top.Thump thump all night long until they died.So I dug a hole in the backyard and lined it with plastic, caught some more and they actually lived for a few weeks.

Of course they built A development on top of the creek I harvested my brood stock from.I went to a hearing examiners meeting and had a biologist hired by the developer, tell me that there never were any salmon in the creek. Now they wonder where all the Coho went.
