Just wanted to post a short note regarding girls hoops at our local college level, UofM Grizzlies here in Missoula, MT.
We have a Sophmore forward named Sarah Ena out of Inglemoor H.S.(sp?) in Kenmore, WA and this young lady is the real deal. Coach Selvig has a great program here at the U and doesn't have any trouble finding girls that can play and want to play at this level and she's a steady in the starting lineup as a Sophmore! My wife and I went to a few games this past couple of weeks as the season wrapped up and I'm already excited to watch Ms.Ena play some more next season. She had a heck of a game Sat. afternoon (19pts,14 rebounds) as the Lady Griz beat Portland St. for the Big Sky champ. and a birth in the NCAA big dance. Ms. Ena even made the 5 person all tourney team. I believe the only "non-senior" to make it. Pretty awsome gal to watch..Pairings will come out this afternoon, we'll get to watch them at least one more game this season..Just wanted to say thanks for the top notch ball player, she's got quite a career ahead of her if she can stay healthy..Thanks for the athlete!!
