I've recently left the guiding business on the Skagit. My 16 foot, forest green center console Smokercraft, my baby (her nickname is "Money"...I ust sell with a heavy heart. I've kept this boat in ultra excellent condition, the true 40 Yamaha runs as the day it left the showroom floor, I tune it up twice a year. I've added green outdoor carpet to the floor, front deck and seat sides, a 96 qt. cooler for storage in fron, oar locks, sawyer oars, Fish on rod holders, three padded fish on seats, anchor pulley and cleat, two 6 gal. tanks, new lights and bearings on trailer. This boat is smalle nough to pull plugs with oars, I did it for four years and it rows like a big drift boat. Whoever gets this boat (which drafts like no water and will go over a wet rock) gets my passion. I paid 5700 for it four years ago and even with all the improvements all I ask is $3500.00 and it's yours.

I don't know if this boat will be big enough for me, and I don't know how well I would like the center console. I'm 220 lbs. and the tiller handle really gets me going. I fish the Lewis a lot and have had a sylvan in the 15 1/2' split seat but it only had a 40 merc. and 6 Merc kicker and I ran awesome with two guys but you put a third in and it had a lot of drag for summer flows. But most of the buddies have ventured off to there own worlds and me still fishing 275 days a year I could consider another boat. A couple of other questions.
1. The degree of the bottom?
2. Any crossmembers or benches in the boat.
3. Side height.
4. Will you tell me the rest of your
zipperlips? Just kidding
5. I was the one who had caught the 28.5 lb chum off of the grays river. Did you ever get out to fish that river yet? I caught that fish two seasons ago and had sent in a picture of it.

Can you launch it off steep banks and load up at the same type of places you do a drift boat? I saw it on tv when you fished the sound for cuts. I like the style just wonder if it would work in my neck of the woods. Would you float down the Sol Duc in it?
