I think that westsid early ML is a week or two earlier than last year, which is nice. It starts in September.

Kind of giving it to us bow hunters in the hide end this year. Shorter seasons and weeks without the rut. Switched for the better seasons to bow years ago. With these changes and the ones I hear are coming......I always wanted to try ML. Might see you out there RR.

Early ML is Sep 26- Oct 4. Lots of new units. They added Skookumchuck for the late season! Looks like almost all of region 6 is open for the early season, including Wynoochee! Now I gotta bring a shotgun and an ML on those early fishing trips.

Do I understand it correctly that the bullet restrictions have changed as well?

Does it make a difference in anyones opinion?

Any bullet may now be used for ML. I may give to sabots a try with the Barnes .458 copper hp, or the Hornady ML sabots.

They still have the "cap exposed" rule.

Archers lost a week at the end of September.

I skimmed throught it. Kinda mixed feelings. They brough back a favorite elk permit which is good. Shortened the early bow deer season which sucks. Now I have to inspect all the red changes and see how pissed I get....or not.

Just an FYI .. I work at Fred Meyers and our lead customer service desk person showed me yesterday an E-mail she received from the WDFW saying that the printed versions of the regs contained many errors and were being recalled. Don't know if the on-line version is correct so it might be a good idea to wait a bit before making plans for this fall until we see a corrected version.

Yep, a $20,000 mistake.

Not too bad... Killed my favorite deer muzzleloader hunt though....... Now it's draw only.....
