i recently purchased a kickboat made from a company called Water Master, and i wanted to let anyone who is looking to buy a kickbaot to seriously look into the water master. This boat is the most user friendly fishing tool I have ever used. It's 8 feet long and 4 1/2 feet wide with a rhino-lined wooden seat molded between two cahmbers. So the boat folds down around the seat and with the pump, fins, oars, and and boat to can fit it all in a backpack style dry bag weighing 40-45 pounds. What I like about this boat is the closed stern and bown, which are brought to a point, allowing my boat to track extremely well in all water and especially in the wind. The ends also make it very easy to fin, and I find that I rarely need my oars. The closed ends also allow me to stand up whenever i want to stop and the baot catches againts my knees and actually help as a wading tool. When i'm ready i just sit down and go, never having to get out of my boat.It will hold up to 700 pound and sits you up out of the water so you are in control of everything you do. There is enough room behingd to store all your gear or my Black lab likes to ride back there as well. It's rated for up tp a class three rapid, and I have yet to float a body of water I can't handle. It takes me about 15 minutes to take up and put down and i can fit three boats in the back seat of my king cab. One final note, I purchased the olive color with camo accesories, wich allows me to hunt waterfowl quite succesfully. Check out their web site at kickboat.com or outdoorwatersports.com. Or call Water Master in Missoula, Mt. It is worth your time.
